Every single morning hands you a fresh start. A new chance to choose a greater version of you show up even before the coffee, before the inbox, before anything else has had a say. Dr. Joe Dispenza wrote, “We are who we practice to be.” Not who we hope to be. Not who we swore we’d be after the last big breakthrough. Who we practice, on ordinary mornings, not just the extraordinary ones. The great thing about this truth is the version of you that is fluent in abundance doesn’t need to become the abundant you. It is already the abundant you!
Nobody becomes fluent in anything worth having through just one great insight. A pianist doesn’t play a piece once and call it mastered. An athlete doesn’t take one good rep and retire the habit. Fluency is built the same joyful way every time, by choosing the same intention over and over. Then, again, and again, until the intention no longer requires effort and simply is how a person moves through the world. Every time you catch yourself mid-thought and choose expansion, that’s a practice, a rep for the intention of abundance. Every time you are generous, stay open, stay grateful, simply because you decided to, that’s a rep too. None of it has to be dramatic. It only needs to be repeated. Repeated so often, that practice is an engrained habit of being abundant.
So, here’s a suggestion, practice the version of you that already knows abundance is real, today, on purpose, regardless of what the morning might have looked like. Not because anything is broken or needs fixing, but because greatness is rehearsed on purpose, with intention, over and over again. This “rehearsal with purpose” will become a habit and the habit will reveal the natural and normal state of the abundance of your being. Abundance is a way of being you get to keep choosing, rep after glorious rep, until the day you realize abundance no longer a choice at all. It’s simply who you are.
