Our Father-Mother God, Which Art in Heaven

When we speak the familiar words, “Our Father, which art in Heaven,” we are acknowledging a profound spiritual truth: the Infinite Source of all Life is the very Creative Intelligence and Divine Love expressing in, as and through us. Metaphysically, “Our Father” represents the universal Father and Mother Principle of God, the Creative Power that gives life and the Infinite Love that sustains it. And Heaven? Heaven is the consciousness of our Oneness with God, available right here, right now! These opening words invite us to move beyond simply believing in God to consciously knowing and living as individualized expressions of the Divine. And THAT awareness transforms prayer from something we say into a spiritual Truth we LIVE!
